Telangana Elections Results: Situation In Hung Assembly

Politics in Telangana is taking unexpected turns. The competition between the major parties in the current election will be fierce. As polling approaches, everyone is excited. All the political parties prepare a plan B to move ahead regardless of the results. They also prepare a plan C on what to do if there is a difference. As a part of that, exercises are also going on what to do in case of a hung assembly. There is a debate in the political circles about what will happen if it leads to Hung.

Fierce Competition

The contest has become interesting as Congress has made an unprecedented comeback in the state. Most of the surveys are giving the crown to the Congress party, and some are saying BRS is the winner. At a time like this, the news is going viral on what happens if there is a hung in the state. There are a total of 119 seats in Telangana. Any party has power only if it gets 60 seats; otherwise, it is a coalition government. BJP and MIM parties are confident that they will be the kingmakers if there is a hung.

Meanwhile, the ruling party, BRS, will have a chance to form the government even if it gets 53 seats because MIM is to be with that party. Majlis Party always supports BRS. The BRS party formed by Hung is taking power as the Majlis party is likely to get six to seven seats for sure. Another question arises if the BRS party gets less than 50 seats. If the situation is the same, there are more chances of meeting with the BJP. But in this election, the BJP will have to get more seats than Majlis.

Situation Of Congress

If the Congress party gets more than 60 seats, the government will be formed directly. If Hung comes, the real test will be Congress party than all parties. This is creating a situation where the Congress has to make a compromise because the leaders in the Congress are there only if they have a post. If there were nothing, they would leave the party. On the other hand, it is not clear whether the original Plan B is being considered. At this moment, the Congress party is making all efforts to get the full majority.
