Telangana Government Releases DSC Notification, Exam Dates Coming Soon

Telangana announces new DSC notification. CM Revanth Reddy, Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, and Government Whip Beerla Ilayya confirm. Applications are accepted from March 4 to April 2 with a Rs. 1000 fee. 11 exam centres are to be set up statewide for online tests. Exam dates are to be disclosed shortly.

The School Education Commissioner, Devasena, announced the cancellation of the previous DSC notification. Last year, on September 6, a notification for 5,089 teacher posts was issued, attracting around 1.75 lakh applicants. However, due to scheduling conflicts with assembly elections, the exam was postponed. Now, the new government plans to fill 11,062 positions, including roles for School Assistants, Language Teachers, PETs, SGTs, and others. Consequently, the old notification is being scrapped. The School Education Department clarified that candidates who applied previously do not need to re-apply.
