Telangana Govt: Mega DSC soon, 12 thousand posts to be filled

Thousands of unemployed people are waiting for the recruitment of government teacher jobs in Telangana. The previous government said it was releasing a notification soon, many times, but it never materialised. It is in this background that the newly formed Congress government in Telangana is preparing to release the Mega DSC notification soon.

Announcement of Tamilisai in Assembly

It is known that around 12 thousand teacher posts have been identified to be filled through Mega DSC in the state. A supplementary notification is likely to be issued along with the 5,089 posts already decided to be filled. Governor Tamilisai announced in the assembly that the teacher posts will be filled through Mega DSC. For the first time after the formation of the state, in 2017, a notification was issued for filling 13,500 teacher posts. After that, two months ago, the BRS government decided to fill up 5,089 teacher posts. A total of 1,77,502 people have applied. While the exams for these posts were to be held from November 20 to 30, the exams were postponed due to the assembly elections.

12 thousand posts

The recently formed Congress government in the state has decided to organize Mega DSC by adding additional posts. In addition to the 5,089 posts already mentioned in the notification, another 4281 vacancies have been identified. In addition to these, 1,523 special posts announced earlier are also to be filled. Additionally, another 1,000 posts were found to be vacant in model schools. Another 400 posts are vacant due to promotions. More than 12 thousand posts have to be filled. A supplementary notification is likely to be issued for this purpose. Officials say that those who have applied in the past are also eligible and freshers can also apply.
