Telangana Govt. to Introduce Half-Day Schools

The Telangana government has issued an important directive regarding summer schooling. Starting March 15, all government, private, and aided schools in the state will have half-day classes. This decision aims to address the rising temperatures and heatwaves in the region. The directive mandates one-day classes for schools until April 23.

During these days, half-day classes will run from 8 am to 12:30 pm. However, schools conducting class 10 exams will hold afternoon classes. Students will be provided with a midday meal before continuing with their classes. Once the class 10 exams conclude, regular morning classes will resume.
