TS Congress Delivers on Promises: Free Electricity Guarantee to Commence Next Month

Telangana Congress successfully implemented two guarantees in six guarantees promised during the elections. Now Congress is gearing up for the implementation of another commitment. Specifically, the assurance of free electricity will be implemented starting from the next month.

Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy asserts that opposition party claims should not be trusted, emphasizing that all promises will be honored within the first 100 days and each household set to receive 200 units of free electricity. Despite challenges posed by the state’s financial situation, allegedly exacerbated under the KCR government’s leadership, he said that the steps have been taken to salvage the electricity company facing losses of Rs. 85 thousand crores. This, in turn, has contributed to a slight delay in guarantee fulfillment. Minister Reddy strongly criticizes BRS, asserting that they will not secure a single seat in the forthcoming parliamentary elections.
