TS Elections: BJP Opens Account, Steady Increase In Votes

BJP opened its account in assembly elections. BJP candidate Alleti Maheshwar Reddy won against Minister Indrakaran Reddy in Nirmal. On the other hand, BJP is leading in 8 seats. At present, votes for BJP are gradually increasing in these seats. Meanwhile, the BJP got a big shock in Dubbaka. BRS candidate Kota Prabhakar Reddy won with a huge majority against BJP candidate Raghunandan Rao.

First Victory in Nirmal

The counting of votes in the Telangana Assembly elections is going on. The process started at 8 AM this morning. 49 counting centres have been set up for all 119 assembly constituencies and counting of votes is going on in all 49 counting centres. But while the Congress continues to lead in Telangana, the BJP got its first victory in Nirmal. Currently, Congress is leading in 64 seats, BRS is leading in 40 seats, BJP in 8 seats and MIM in 6 seats.
