Upset With KCR: Jalagam To Join Congress Today In Delhi
Disgruntled senior leader Jalagam Venkat Rao, who was expecting a BRS ticket from Bhadradri Kothagudem, said goodbye to the party. Reportedly, he took this decision after being upset that apart from the ticket, KCR did not even give him his appointment. He made arrangements to join Congress, in the presence of Rahul Gandhi. It is reported that Jalagam will wear the Congress scarf this evening.

Jalagam Venkat Rao, who joined the BRS party from the Congress party, is returning home. He has been unhappy with the ruling party for some time. Realizing this matter, the senior leaders of the Congress party consulted with him several times. With these efforts, Jalagam decided to go back to Congress for his political future. As part of this, Jalagam reached Delhi along with TPCC chief Revanth Reddy, CLP Leader Bhatti Vikramarka and former MP Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy.
Kothagudem Ticket Is Likely To Be His
Bhadradri Kothagudem ticket has not been allocated to anyone by the Congress party till now. As a result, now the talk is that the ticket will be allotted to Jalagam Venkat Rao. Political analysts are of the view that with the inclusion of Jalagam, the strength of the Congress party will increase in the joint Khammam district. In 2014, Jalagam Venkat Rao was elected MLA from Kothagudem from TRS. But in the 2018 election, he was defeated by the Congress candidate Vanama Venkateswara Rao. Major leaders in the Khammam district have already left BRS.
