Vijayashanti: ‘Only Now Government is Functioning Democratically in Telangana’

Senior Congress leader Vijayashanti said that this is the first time after the formation of the state that the assembly meetings are being held procedurally. She noted that after 2014, she is only seeing meetings being held smoothly and soberly now. She said that the secretariat is now functioning at total capacity. She said that after nearly a decade, the government is acting on democratic lines for the first time in Telangana.

Vijayashanti said that crores of people are now gaining confidence that this is a people’s government and that it will be run democratically. Vijayashanthi posted on X that she wants the future of the people of Telangana, which formed after 26 years of struggle, to be good and the future of the children to be promising.
