774 new COVID-19 cases in India: These many deaths?

Coronavirus cases are increasing day by day in the country. The Union Health Ministry has revealed that 774 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours. Including the latest cases, the number of active cases in the country stands at 4,187. Yesterday, 921 people recovered from the pandemic. With this, the number of people who have recovered from Corona has increased to 4,44,79,804 across the country. Two deaths were reported due to Corona in 24 hours, one in Gujarat and one in Tamil Nadu. With this, the death toll from Covid has reached 5,33,387.

Currently, the number of active cases in the country is 0.01 percent, the Union Health Ministry has revealed. The recovery rate is 98.81 percent and the death rate is 1.18 percent. It has been revealed that 220.67 crore doses of COVID vaccines have been distributed so far. On the other hand, 619 cases of the corona sub-variant JN.1 have been reported across the country so far. The highest number of these were 199 in Karnataka, 148 in Kerala and 110 in Maharashtra.
