Bala Ram in Ayodhya to get a one-hour daily break

Large crowds of devotees are flocking to Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, to pay their respects to the revered idol of Lord Bala Ram, a significant figure in Hinduism. The influx of visitors, both from within the country and abroad, has led to heavy traffic congestion in the area. To accommodate the increasing number of devotees, the Sri Rama Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust has extended the temple’s visiting hours from 6 am to 10 pm daily, previously limited to 7 am to 6 pm.

The temple trust has made another significant decision recently regarding the darshan timings of Lord Bala Ram. It has been announced that the temple gates will be closed for an hour every day, from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm, to provide the deity with a much-needed rest. This decision was made considering the well-being of Lord Bala Ram, as constant exposure to devotees can be stressful for the deity, especially for a young boy like Ayodhya Ramaiah, who is five years old. Acharya Satyendra Das, the chief priest of Ram Mandir, confirmed this decision, emphasizing the importance of ensuring the deity’s rest.
