Bullet Train Track Is Ready: Centre’s Fast-Paced Project

The Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Corridor has crossed a milestone with the completion of 100 km of viaducts. 40 m long full-span box girders and segmental girders were introduced. The span method used in the Metro Viaduct has made the construction process ten times faster than the conventional span.

In line with this, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav shared a video on Thursday showing the progress of the ‘Bullet Train’ project. As part of the progress, we completed the first kilometre in six months. We reached 50 kilometres in just ten months. It has reached the 100 km mark in a total of 16 months, an official said. In the viaduct, bridges were built over the six rivers of Gujarat Par, Purna, Mindhola, Ambika, Auranga and Vengania. Additionally, the completion of 250 kilometres of pier work is said to indicate the comprehensive progress of the project.
