Corona’s New Variant, JN.1 Increasing Steadily: Central Government Alerts

Cases of Corona’s new variant, JN.1, are increasing steadily in India. 358 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours across the country. At the same time, three people lost their lives due to the Virus. All three deaths also occurred in Kerala. The covid sub-variant JN.1 was first identified in Kerala.

As far as Telugu states are concerned, 6 new positive cases have been reported in the last 24 hours. All these cases were registered in Hyderabad. Currently, 14 people are receiving treatment for Covid-19, according to the Health Department. It is reported that new variant cases have been reported in AP as well. In the wake of the rising number of Covid cases, the central government has become alarmed. It has advised the states and Union Territories to take all measures to contain Corona.
