Deadly Road Accident in Odisha: Seven Lives Lost

A terrible road accident occurred in Odisha. The car driver’s excessive speed led to the death of seven people. In an attempt to overtake an auto on a single-lane road, the car collided with a bike. The auto collided with another biker, resulting in the instant deaths of all three people at the scene. Police reported that another four individuals succumbed to their injuries while receiving treatment at the hospital. The entire incident of this tragic accident near Borigumma village in Koraput district, Odisha, was recorded in the CCTV cameras of a nearby hotel. The video of this incident has currently gone viral on social media.

The locals who were alerted by the incident shifted them immediately to the hospital. Upon receiving the information, the police arrived at the scene of the incident, registered a case, and began an investigation. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has responded to this incident. A compensation of three lakh rupees has been announced to the family members of those who died in the accident. Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation regarding the incident.
