Hyderabad Police Crack Down on Cannabis Chocolate Distribution

In Hyderabad, Cyberabad SOT police confiscated a large quantity of cannabis chocolates and arrested three individuals, charging them under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. It was identified that a young man from Bihar named Shibukumar was selling these cannabis chocolates under the guise of a grocery store in Jeedimetla. It was revealed that he was selling these to labourers and students.

In Ramachandrapuram’s Balajinagar, an elderly man named Seetaram, and in Nizampet, a person named Chandrashekhar were identified as selling cannabis chocolates. Police stated that these were being brought in from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. From the suspects, 250 packets of cannabis chocolates were seized. Similarly, two individuals selling banned cigarettes near Chunchupalli were arrested, and 114 packets of cigarettes found in their possession were seized.
