Hyderabad to Get Tunnel Roads: Check Out the Routes!

The government is focusing on the construction of tunnel roads, to overcome traffic problems in Hyderabad. GHMC officials have prepared proposals and selected five areas in the city for this project. Centred around the ITC Kohinoor, they have decided to construct approximately 39 km of tunnel roads across three routes. Tenders have been invited to conduct a study on the feasibility of these projects.

• From ITC Kohinoor to Wipro Circle via Khajaguda, Nanak Ramguda – 9 km.
• From ITC Kohinoor to JNTU via Mind Space Junction – 8 km.
• From ITC Kohinoor to Banjara Hills Road No. 10 via Jubilee Hills Road No. 45 – 7 km.
• From GVK Mall to Nanal Nagar via Masab Tank – 6 km.
• From Nampally to Chandrayangutta Inner Ring Road via Charminar, Falaknuma – 9 km.
