Is Prashant Kishor A Liar?

In a dramatic departure from his role as a top political consultant, Prashant Kishor has plunged into the turbulent world of active politics, leaving a trail of controversy and speculation in his wake. Kishor, once a pivotal figure at I-PAC, a prominent political consulting firm in India, announced his retirement after the West Bengal elections, vowing not to return to the industry again. However, recent events have cast a shadow over his credibility & commitment to this promise.

Kishor who marketed himself to be the face of I-PAC has subsequently had multiple fallouts with the I-PAC leadership team after he pressured them for funds for his political party in Bihar. It was in this context, that Kishor had to cut off all ties with I-PAC and fend for himself in the political sphere. Not many people know that I-PAC operations have nothing to do with PK anymore.

This acrimonious rift raises questions about Kishor’s motives and the dynamics behind his transition. Despite his public declaration of stepping away from political consulting, Kishor now joined forces with the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), striking a lucrative deal amounting to Rs 125 crores.

The narrative assumed an added layer of intrigue as Prashant Kishor, Nara Lokesh, Shantanu (head of operations at ShowTime Consulting, now affiliated with TDP), and Kilaru Rajesh reportedly embarked on a discreet private jet journey to meet Chandrababu Naidu in Vijayawada. This covert manoeuvring has intensified scrutiny of Kishor’s actions, prompting widespread questioning of his ethical stance and the convoluted interplay of power, finances, and alliances within the intricate web of AP & Indian politics.

As Kishor’s foray reshapes the political landscape, the consequences of his decisions linger, sparking a broader conversation on the nuanced dynamics at the confluence of political power and consultancy ethics.
