This incident happened to Clayton and Carrie Law, a couple from Pennsylvania, USA, who are raising a dog. They recently discovered that the $4,000, they kept in their house were missing. They were shocked when the money kept in the house disappeared. After a long search, they came to know the truth. They found that the pet dog had eaten the dollar bills they had kept in the house. They found out that the dog did that because of severe hunger.

The dog was immediately taken to the vet. When they went to the bank and told them the situation, they suggested a solution. They suggested that if they get the serial numbers of the notes, they can deposit them in the bank. With this, the couple started efforts to retrieve the notes swallowed by the dog. They collected notes from dog faeces and vomit. So a total of Rs 2 lakh 95 thousand worth of notes were found. As the rest of the papers were lost, they said that the loss was more than one lakh Indian Rupees. The owner expressed his concern that such a situation had never been encountered before. A video of this incident is currently going viral on social media.
