Political Shift: Mudragada Officially Announces Entry into YSRCP

As elections are coming up in Andhra Pradesh, important changes are happening in its politics. People who didn’t get a chance to run for election and leaders unhappy with their party are thinking about joining other parties. Recently, a well-known leader, Mudragada Padmanabham, decided not to join Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena Party as many thought he would. Instead, he chose to join the YSRCP, the party currently in power, because he wasn’t happy with how Pawan Kalyan was leading his party. Mudragada made this big decision public today, saying he will join YSRCP on the 14th of this month in front of Chief Minister Jagan. He also shared a letter explaining his decision.

It was advised that participants should bring their food for the rally. It was made clear that the decision to join YSRCP was in response to a call from CM Jagan. The commitment to work towards re-electing Jagan as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and to support the welfare of the poor, regardless of the location, was expressed. It was also stated in the letter that no wrongdoing has been committed, nor will be. The joining of Mudragada Padmanabham, a prominent Kapu leader, to YSRCP ahead of the elections has become a hot topic in Andhra Pradesh politics.
