South Central Railway to run Special Trains for Sankranti: Train List

The Sankranti festival is close by. With this, all those staying in Hyderabad are already preparing to go to their own villages. All the berths in the trains that run every day are already full. On the one hand, RTC is running special buses and even those are proving to be inadequate. On the other hand, if you want to resort to private travel, they are charging huge sums for this. It has become a big test for common people to go to their hometown. It is against this backdrop that South Central Railway has announced special trains for passengers. These trains will run from December 28 to February 1.

Added Special Trains to run on these routes:

Train no. 07605 will run from Tirupati to Akola every Friday from January 5 to 26. Train no. 07606 will run from Akola to Tirupati every Sunday from 7th to 28th January.

Train no. 07609 from Purna to Tirupati from 1st January to 29th Monday, Train no. 07610 from Tirupati to Purna will run every Tuesday from January 2nd to 30th.

Train no. 07631 will run from Hyderabad to Narsapur every Saturday from January 6 to 27, train no. 07632 from Narsapur to Hyderabad runs every Sunday from January 7 to 28.

Train no. 07481 will run from Tirupati to Secunderabad every Sunday from January 7 to 28, train no. 07482 from Secunderabad to Tirupati runs every Monday from 8th to 29th January.

Train no. 07445 will run from Kakinada Town to Lingampally from January 1st to 31st on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and train no. 07446 from Lingampally to Kakinada Town to run every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 2nd January to 1st February.

On the other hand, South Central Railway is going to serve additional routes with special trains as well for Sankranti.

Special Trains to run on these new routes:

Train no. 07653 to cover Kachiguda – Kakinada Town between December 28, January 4, 11, 18, and 25 will leave Kachiguda at 8:30 PM every Thursday night and reach Kakinada at 8 AM the next day.

Train no. 07654 to cover Kakinada Town – Kachiguda every Friday on December 29, January 5, 12, 19, and 26. It will leave at 7:30 AM and reach Kachiguda at 4:50 AM the next day.

These trains will run via Malkajgiri, Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Piduguralla, Sattenapalli, Guntur, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Nidadavolu, Rajahmundry and Samarlakota. The trains have first AC, two-tier, three-tier, sleeper and general bogies.

Train no. 07509 will run from Hyderabad to Tirupati on December 28, January 4, 11, 18 and 25. This trail will depart from Hyderabad at 7:25 PM every Thursday and reach Tirupati at 8:20 AM the next day.

Train no. 07510 will run from Tirupati to Hyderabad on December 29, January 5, 12, 19 and 26 every Friday. This train will depart from Tirupati at 8:15 PM and arrive at Hyderabad at 8.40 AM the next day.

These trains will pass through Secunderabad, Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Nadikudi, Sattenapalli, Guntur, Tenali, Bapatla, Chirala, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur and Renigunta stations. All these special trains have first AC, two-tier, three-tier, sleeper and general bogies as well.
