Suryapet Road Tragedy: Auto-Bus Crash Results in Three Deaths

A tragic road accident occurred in the Suryapet district. On Wednesday morning, an auto and a bus collided near Mothe. Three people lost their lives in this accident. Fifteen labourers from Ramasamudram in Munagala Mandal were travelling in an auto to Burakacherla village in Mothe Mandal for chilli-picking work. As they approached the underpass bridge near Mothe village on the Suryapet-Khammam national highway, an RTC bus coming at high speed hit the auto.

In this accident, three labourers lost their lives on the spot, and another 12 were seriously injured. Police rushed to the scene upon receiving the information and gathered details about how the accident happened. The injured were transported to the Suryapet regional hospital. Police identified that the RTC bus involved in the accident belonged to the Madhira depot. A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway.
