Telangana Government Announces Extension of TET Application Deadline

The government has postponed the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) once again. As per the schedule, the deadline for applications has been extended by another ten days starting from today. The submission of applications was previously extended until April 20. Additionally, the editing option has been made available from April 11 to April 20. The State Education Department has advised applicants who have not yet applied to do so immediately.

As of Tuesday evening, a total of 193,135 individuals have applied. For Paper 1, there were 72,771 applications, and for Paper 2, there were 120,364. In comparison, the TET conducted in 2016 received 3.40 lakh applications, 3.29 lakhs in 2017, 3.79 lakhs in 2022, and 2.83 lakhs in 2023. The TET exam will be held from May 20 to June 3. The results will be announced on June 12. Those who qualify for this exam will be eligible to write the DSC.
