Telugu States on Alert: Heavy Rain Warning Issued by Meteorological Department

The Meteorological Department has issued a big alert for the Telugu states. Heavy rains are expected in many places in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana for the next three days. The Meteorological Department stated that the low pressure will persist in the Bay of Bengal. Additionally, it has been revealed that the surface circulation will continue along the coasts of North Odisha and West Bengal. The circulation will continue towards the southwest at a height of 7.6 km above sea level. Due to the effect of low pressure and surface circulation, there is a possibility of heavy rains in many places in the Telugu states.

The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for Adilabad, Peddapalli, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Khammam, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Komuram Bhim, Nirmal, Manchiryala, Jagityala, Mahabubabad, Karimnagar, Bhupalpally, and Mulugu districts of Telangana. A yellow alert has also been issued for the areas of Amalapuram, Kakinada, Nellore, Kavali, Ongole, Bapatla, Machilipatnam, Gannavaram, Bhimavaram, and Annavaram in Andhra Pradesh. The AP Disaster Management Agency mentioned that there is a chance of light rain in some parts of Nandyal, Sri Sathyasai, Kadapa, Annamayya, Chittoor, Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Anakapalli, and Tirupati districts.
