The Unlucky ’17’ Is Haunting KCR.. No ‘Car’ In Those 17 Segments

The emergence of the Telangana State had been a dream for decades. It was KCR who made that dream come true. That is an undeniable truth. He achieved the coveted Telangana separate state with many strategies and counter-strategies. As a result, there is no weapon in politics that he does not use. Kalvakuntla Chandrasekhar Rao, who is recognized as today’s Chanakya, has a ’17’ trouble in politics. 17 is not a date that we are referring to but 17 assembly constituencies. Those constituencies have become a sticking point for KCR in his political career. At the time of the current Assembly Elections, there is an interesting discussion on those segments once again.

KCR is known to take every election as a challenge in both the joint state and the separate state. That is why he achieved incredible success in 2014 and 2018. He suffocated even the most well-seasoned leaders with his politics. He defeated great leaders with his tactical planning and sent them home. They have not recovered even now. Even though he is such a political visionary, those 17 seats in the state have been escaping from his grasp all this while. So far the pink flag (BRS Party) has not been waved in those places. It is surprising that BRS has not won in those assembly seats yet.

BRS Cannot Cross the Khammam Threshold

Since the birth of the party, Khammam District has become a bone of contention for BRS. Apart from just the Khammam town, the Pink Party continues to face heavy defeats in the remaining 9 seats. Whether the situation will remain the same in the latest elections is being debated. This time the BRS party has increased its campaign to win those positions. Taking those positions as prestigious, they are doing a widespread campaign. CM KCR, Ministers KTR, Harish Rao and others paid special attention to those 9 constituencies. And this time it has to be seen whether the people of Khammam will bless the BRS Party.

Unwelcoming Hyderabad For BRS

Since the time of the movement, the capital city of Hyderabad (Hyderabad) has not been very supportive of BRS. There are more than 20 seats in the Twin Cities, but the former TRS cannot win even ten seats. The scenario changed in 2018. BRS party won more than ten seats exceptionally. However, they could not open the account in the Old City area. BRS is nominally contesting 7 seats in Old City (Goshamahal, Malakpeta, Karwan, Charminar, Chandrayanagutta, Yakutpura, Bahadurpura and Nampally). The BRS party has not won in those seats so far as it is cooperating with its ally AIMIM. BRS also failed to win LB Nagar and Maheswaram under the Rangareddy district. This time, BRS is likely to win these two seats in the latest elections. Sabitha Indra Reddy and Devireddy Sudheer Reddy who won from Congress are currently contesting from BRS. If they succeed, the ‘car’ will finally enter these two segments as well.

All in all, these 17 positions have been a headache for BRS up until now. This time it seems that the BRS party will win more than five of those 17 seats. Since it is a friendly competition in Old City, there is no focus on those seats. But in the 9 seats of Khammam district, BRS is determined to win this time by any means. And this time, how many seats BRS will get in the combined Khammam district is an interesting aspect of the current election. We will have to wait till December 3rd to find out.
