Bharat Ratna Award

The Bharat Ratna Award is India’s highest civilian award. It was inaugurated on January 2, 1954, by Dr Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India. The President of India gives this civic award for outstanding achievements in the fields of art, literature, science, and sports. Notable recipients include Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, Jawahar Lal Nehru, Dr Rajendra Prasad, Dr BR Ambedkar (posthumous), Nelson Mandela, Mother Teresa, Sachin Tendulkar, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Pranab Mukherjee and others.

World Introvert Day

Designated as World Introvert Day, today is dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the uniqueness of introverted individuals. Introverts, who may find social interactions challenging, are encouraged to spend the day with familiar faces, fostering connections and dispelling any associated stigma. It is an opportunity to embrace and appreciate the diversity of personalities.
