Thousands Await a Glimpse of Lord Ram, Ordinary Devotees Begin to Visit from Today

In a display of profound devotion, thousands have already flocked to Ayodhya to witness the newly unveiled statue of Lord Ram, eagerly awaiting their turn for darshan. Ordinary devotees are now granted the opportunity to visit the revered site, with many contributing generous donations to the Ram Mandir.

A notable act of devotion comes from a Surat-based diamond merchant, Mukesh Patel, who donated an 11-crore-worth ‘mukut’ (crown) to the Ram Lalla idol. The 6 kg crown, adorned with gold, diamonds, and precious stones, was specially crafted for the deity. Deepak Choksi, owner of Kushal Das Jewelers, also from Surat, contributed by presenting 3 kg silver Ram Mandir miniature.

Additional jewelry was designed by Harsahaimal Shiamlal Jewelers of Ankur Anand, Lucknow. Lord Ram’s attire was fashioned by Delhi-based designer Manish Tripathi, featuring a red angavastra embellished with golden-colored lace.
