Tragic Road Accident in Madhya Pradesh: 14 Dead, 20 Injured

A tragic road accident happened in Madhya Pradesh when a speeding pickup truck flipped over, resulting in the deaths of 14 passengers and leaving over 20 others injured. The incident occurred near Badjar Ghat in Dindori last night, according to police. The injured individuals were taken to Shapura Health Center for treatment.

The police said that 9 men and 5 women were killed in the accident and 9 men and 12 women were injured. Police explained that all of them were residents of Amhai Deori village and had gone to Shapura area to participate in a social function. Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav expressed deep regret over this incident. A compensation of Rs 4 lakh was announced for the families of the deceased. He said that the district officials have been directed to ensure that the injured get better treatment.
