Travelling Home for Sankranti? Here are additional Special Trains!

Sankranti festival is coming. Due to this, city residents going to their hometowns are reserving seats in trains and buses. But all the berths in the daily trains were filled three months back. Due to this, people are suffering from not being able to find seats on trains and paying huge fares on buses and private travel. Due to this, South Central Railway has announced more special trains in view of the rush of passengers. 8 special trains will run between Secunderabad-Brahmapur-Secunderabad and Vikarabad-Brahmapur-Vikarabad.

Train no. 07089 Secunderabad-Brahmapur special train will arrive every Sunday, on January 7 and 14 and depart from Secunderabad at 7:45 PM. This train will reach Brahmapur the next day that is on Monday at 11:15 AM. On the return journey train no. 07092 Brahmapur-Secunderabad every Wednesday, on the 10th and 17th of January, after leaving Brahmapur at 12:30 PM, the train will reach Secunderabad at 6:30 AM the next day, that is Thursday. This train stops at Pagidipalli, Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Sattenapalli, Guntur, Krishna Canal, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Samarlakota, Annavaram, Anakapalli, Duvvada, Simhachalam, Pendurthi, Kothavalasa, Vizianagaram, Cheepurupalli, Srikakulam Road, Palasa, Sompet and Ichchapuram stations.

Train no. 07091 Vikarabad-Brahmapur special train, will depart from Vikarabad at 6 PM on January 9th and 16th, every Tuesday. This train reaches Brahmapur at 11:15 AM the next day that is Wednesday. On the return journey, train no. 07090 Brahmapur-Vikarabad departs Brahmapur at 12:30 PM every Monday, on the 8th and 15th of January. This train will reach Vikarabad at 8:30 AM the next day that is on Tuesday. This train will stop at Lingampally, Secunderabad, Pagidipally, Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Sattenapally, Guntur, Krishna Canal, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Samarlakota, Annavaram, Anakapalli, Duvwada, Simhachalam, Pendurthi, Kothavalasa, Vizianagaram, Chipurupalli, Srikakulam Road, Palasa, So before and Ichchapuram stations.
