World Human Rights Day: Today Is International Human Rights Day

International Human Rights Day is celebrated on December 10. American Human Rights Award and Nobel Prize winners will be honoured on this day. On December 10, 1948, the United Nations declared Universal Human Rights. That is why this day is celebrated as International Human Rights Day. In India, the Protection of Human Rights Act was enacted in 1993 and came into effect on January 8, 1994.

The program’s main objective is to create awareness among the people regarding human rights and inform them about the complaints and remedies in case of any violations.

World Animal Rights Day

December 10 is also celebrated as World Animal Rights Day. To protect the animals’ wealth and take appropriate measures for their development, Also, the main idea today is that animals should have some rights like humans. That is why countries around the world adopted the Universal Declaration of Animal Rights in 1998. The main objective of this day is to improve the relationship between animals and humans.
