2023 ODI WC Result: Rohit Sharma Responds First Time On Defeat
Team India lost to Australia in the final of the ODI World Cup and lost the trophy. India, who excelled throughout the tournament, faltered in the finals. As a result, it became the runner-up. Indian players shed tears while leaving the field. However, after the defeat by Australia in the final of the 2023 ODI World Cup, Team India’s captain Rohit Sharma came to social media for the first time and released a video statement.

In this video posted on Instagram, Rohit is very emotional. The hitman noted that he did not know how to overcome the defeat in the World Cup final. He said that it hurt a lot to disappoint the fans’ hopes. He said that he could not digest winning ten matches in a row and losing in the final. He remembers that he grew up watching ODI World Cups from childhood and used to think that winning the World Cup was a great reward.

He said that the entire team worked hard for a few years to win the World Cup, but the final result was a disappointment. After the defeat in the final, he said that his journey was not as easy as expected and that his family members and friends helped him a lot to get out of that pain. In the end, he concluded his message that defeats in the game are natural, and one should overcome them and move forward in life.
