Australia In Lead, Wins Test With Massive Margin Against Pakistan

Pakistan suffered a heavy defeat at the hands of Aussies in the first Test held in Perth, Australia. Australia won this match by a huge margin of 360 runs. In the first innings, Aussies were bowled out for 487 runs, while Pakistan were restricted to just 271 runs. Meanwhile, the Aussies, who declared the second innings at 233-5, set a massive target of 449 runs against Pakistan. In the chase, Pakistan lost all wickets for 89 runs in 30.2 overs, and the Aussies got a huge win. With this, the Aussies took a 1-0 lead in the three-match Test series.

Player Of The Match?

Mitchell Marsh was awarded the Player of the Match award for his brilliant half-centuries in both innings and a wicket. This is Pakistan’s 15th consecutive defeat in Tests on Australian soil. In this match, Starc and Hazlewood took three wickets each. Lyon 2 and Cummins got one wicket. Saud Shakeel (24), Babar Azam (14), and Imam-ul-Haq (10) scored only runs in Pakistan’s innings. The second Test match will start on December 26 in Melbourne.
