BCCI: Three Captains for South Africa Tour.. Schedule starts on 26th

After the World Cup, the Indian team is currently facing Australia in the ongoing home T20 series. They will next play all three formats in an away tour in South Africa. The Indian team will play the Test, ODI and T20 series against the Proteas. BCCI has selected three captains for three formats in this series. Rohit Sharma will be the captain for Tests, KL Rahul for ODIs and Surya Kumar Yadav for T20s. This tour will kick off with the three-match T20 Series on the 26th of this month.

The teams selected for the tour of South Africa have many notable points. Many players selected for the ODI squad are absent from Tests and T20s. Virat Kohli has been rested for the limited-overs leg of this tour. In Hardik Pandya’s absence, KL Rahul has been made captain for the ODIs, with Rohit resting from the white ball formats.
