IND vs ENG: India in Serious Trouble as Wickets Fall in Succession!

England scored 420 runs in the second innings of the first Test match at the Uppal Stadium in Hyderabad but got bowled out. India entered the field with a target of 230 runs and lost 7 wickets for 119 runs. Currently, they have scored 134 runs in 48 overs, with Ravichandran Ashwin and Srikar Bharat at the crease. India still needs 97 runs to win.

In the course of the game, India faced setbacks, losing two wickets at 42 runs. England spinner Tom Hartley dismissed Yashasi vJaiswal (15) and Shubman Gill (0) in overs. Later, skipper Rohit Sharma was lbw for 39 runs off Tom Hartley’s bowling. After the tea break, India lost seven wickets, with Axar Patel dismissed for 95 runs, KL Rahul for 106 runs, Jadeja for 119 runs, and Shreyas Iyer for 119 runs. Ravichandran Ashwin and Srikar Bharat are currently holding the crease.
