India Beats Australia In Final Match: Bangs The Series With 4-1

The World Cup winner Australia turned back with a heavy defeat in the five-match T20 series. The Indian youth team defeated the Aussies, who won the World Cup that we deserved. India beat Australia with 4-1 in the T20 series. The Indian team showed its strength in the final match as well. In the fifth match held at Bengaluru, they defeated Australia by 6 runs.

Australia won the toss and chose to bowl. The Indian team had to work hard to get runs. India scored 160 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Shreyas Iyer (53: 5 fours, two sixes) and Akshar Patel (31: 2 fours, one six) registered the carried score. Behren Dorf and Dwar Schuys got 2 wickets each.

Set out to hit a short target, Australia stumbled under the pressure of our bowlers. At the end of the overs, they lost 8 wickets and made 154 runs. Ben McDermott (54: 5 sixes) was the top scorer. Mukesh 3, Player of the Series Ravi Bishnoi and Arsh Deep took two wickets each. Australia, who have been in India since the World Cup, performed poorly in the final match as well. The Aussies, who showed their ability in the ODI format, could not demonstrate their ability in the shorter format (T20). Out of five matches, they won only one match and went home. After showing complete dominance over the Aussies, the Indian team now focused on the tour of South Africa.
