India Tour of Zimbabwe: Home Team’s Squad Announced!

Zimbabwe will play 5 T20 matches against India at home. While the Indian team has already been announced for this series, the Zimbabwean cricket board recently selected a 15-member squad. Veteran all-rounder Sikandar Raza will captain Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe failed to qualify for the recent T20 World Cup and is looking to get back on track under new head coach Justin Sammons.

The team includes key players like Sikandar Raza, Tendai Chatara, Wesley Madhevere, Brandon Mavuta, Dion Myers, Innocent Kaia, and Milton Shumba. Zimbabwe wants all these players to perform well. Experienced players Craig Ervine and Sean Williams were not considered. The matches will start at 1 PM Central Africa Time (CAT) and 4:30 PM Indian Standard Time (IST).

The series will be held from July 6 to 14. A total of 5 T20s will be played at the Harare Sports Club on July 6, 7, 10, 13 and 14. The Indian team is touring Zimbabwe after 8 years. The last time around, they played a two-match T20 series in 2016 which India won 2-0.
