India vs England: Consistent Partnership by Ashwin and Jurel Drives India’s Score

The third Test match between India and England resumed in Rajkot on the second day. India, who began batting on Friday with an overnight score of 326/5, lost seven wickets and scored 388 runs by lunchtime.

57 run partnership

Kuldeep Yadav (5) and Ravindra Jadeja (112) were dismissed shortly after the start of the first session on the second day. Following their departure, Ashwin (25 not out) and debutant Dhruv Jurel (31 not out) took to the crease and have since built a partnership, adding 57 runs off 133 balls. Among England’s bowlers, pacer Mark Wood took three wickets, while Tom Curran, James Anderson, and Joe Root each claimed one wicket.
