Rohit Sharma Shines with Half Century: India Struggles Against England

India and England commenced their third Test match with Indian captain Rohit Sharma opting to bat first after winning the toss at the Niranjan Shah stadium in Rajkot. However, India faced early setbacks, losing three wickets for just 33 runs. Opener Jaiswal scored only 10 runs before being dismissed, followed by Gill who was out for a duck. Subsequently, Rajat Patidar (5) also fell, leaving India in a challenging situation.

60 runs for the fourth wicket

Indian captain Rohit Sharma (52*) continues his steady performance alongside Ravindra Jadeja (24*), who joined him after the third wicket fell. The duo has added 60 runs for the fourth wicket partnership. Rohit Sharma achieved his 17th half-century during this innings. Mark Wood claimed two wickets for England, while Tom Hartley took one. Presently, India has scored 93 runs with three wickets down.
