Shami’s Road to Recovery: Ankle Surgery Successful

India’s top fast bowler, Mohammad Shami, has been sidelined from matches since last year’s ODI World Cup because of an injury. As a result, he couldn’t join the South Africa tour or play in the Test series against England. Recently, he underwent ankle surgery, which he shared on social media.

Shami tweeted that his heel surgery went well, but he needs time to recover fully. He’s eager to walk again and return to playing cricket, although it will take some time. He also posted photos from his hospital bed, now trending online.
