Sikandar Raza’s Last-Ball Six Seals Victory, Video Goes Viral

The International League T20 2024 is happening in Dubai, where the 27th match featured Dubai Capitals and Desert Vipers. Dubai Capitals emerged victorious by 5 wickets. Desert Vipers, batting first, lost 7 wickets and scored 171 runs in their 20 overs. In their innings, Alex Hales scored 66 runs, Phil Salt contributed 26, Dan Lawrence added 15, Michael Jones made 20, and Sam Curran scored 17 runs. Olly Stone and Van der Merwe from Dubai Capitals took two wickets each, while Kuggelijn managed to secure one wicket.

Dubai Capitals began their innings chasing a target of 172 runs. Max Holden departed early, scoring just 8 runs when the team total was at 16. Following his dismissal, Ben Dunk came in but was soon out for just 1 run. Subsequently, Sam Billings took his place on the pitch. However, opener Tom Banton’s departure after scoring 15 runs put Dubai Capitals in a tough spot, losing three wickets with only 32 runs on the board. Sikandar Raza joined Sam Billings and stabilized the innings. Despite Sam Billings scoring a commendable 57 runs, Dubai Capitals were eventually all out for 111. In the 19th over, Dasun Shanaka’s dismissal led to Dubai losing their fifth wicket, with the team’s score at 159 runs. With 13 runs needed in the final over for victory, Ali Neesar bowled. Kuggelijn managed to hit a boundary off the first ball, but the following deliveries yielded a dot, a single, and two runs respectively. With 6 runs required off the last ball, Sikandar Raza sealed the win with a six.
