Telangana Boys For U-19 Cricket World Cup: KTR’s Wishes

Telangana boys are showcasing their strength in national and international sports competitions. Recently announced by the BCCI, two Telangana players have been selected for the Indian team in the Under-19 World Cup. These boys, who have demonstrated their prowess in domestic tournaments, are now ready to exhibit their skills at the international level. Abhishek from Hyderabad and Aravelly Avanish Rao from Sircilla are the players selected for this prestigious tournament. Former minister and BRS party working president KTR congratulated both of them.

Hyderabadi Prodigy Abhishek

Murugan Abhishek from Hyderabad is very fond of cricket. He worked hard and became a cricketer. Abhishek, who is an off-spin all-rounder, has been selected for a prestigious tournament after showcasing his skills in a series of tournaments.

Pothugal Hero Avanish

Wicketkeeper-batsman Aravelly Avanish Rao hails from the village of Pothugal in the Rajanna Siricilla district. He ascended from a remote village to become an international cricketer through hard work. Considering his performance, the BCCI selected him for the under-19 World Cup.

Former minister KTR expressed his happiness on the selection of both of them. On this occasion, he made a post on X congratulating both of them. “Hearty congratulations to Aravelly Avanish Rao on getting selected for the 2024 U-19 Cricket World Cup and Tri-Series in South Africa. This promising cricketer hails from Pothugal village in Rajanna Sircilla Constituency.” KTR posted in a tweet.

In a separate post, he congratulated Abhishek as well saying, “Would also like to Congratulate another bright lad from Hyderabad, Murugan Abhishek, who made it to the U-19 squad. Best wishes to both these youngsters.”

2024 Under-19 World Cup Schedule

The Under-19 World Cup will start from 19th January in South Africa. This long tournament will end on February 11 with the final. BCCI announced the team for this tournament.

Team India: Arshin Kulkarni, Adarsh Singh, Rudra Mayur Patel, Sachin Das, Priyanshu Molia, Musheer Khan, Uday Saharan (captain), Aravelly Avanish Rao (wicketkeeper), Soumya Kumar Pandey (vice-captain), Murugan Abhishek, Innesh Mahajan (wicket Keeper), Dhanush Gowda, Aaradhya Shukla, Raj Limbani, Naman Tiwari.
