Another Biopic On Silk Smitha: Chandrika Ravi’s Impressive First Look

Silk Smitha is a name that needs no introduction to the Telugu and Tamil audience. In the 1980s, she acted alongside top heroes and made the boys swoon with her beauty. If Silk Smitha is part of the movie it used to rain collections at the box office. Smitha, who was a dancer and an actress, committed suicide creating a sensation at that time. Yesterday, on the occasion of Silk Smitha’s birth anniversary, a piece of news went viral. It seems that there will be another biopic based on the life of Silk at the pan-India level. While Chandrika Ravi is playing the lead role, Actor Jayaram is introducing himself as a director to the industry.

Titled ‘The Untold Story’

The film will be released under the name of ‘Silk Smitha The Untold Story’. The makers released the first look poster on Silk Smitha’s birthday. The film, which is currently being shot, will hit the screens next year. A luminary on the silver screen, Silk Smitha committed suicide on September 23, 1996, under suspicious circumstances. Previously, on the silver screen, in Silk Smitha’s biopic ‘Dirty Picture’, the titular role was played by Vidya Balan and was appreciated by all.
