Rajinikanth’s ‘Vettaiyan’ Movie Shooting Underway in YSR District

Superstar Rajinikanth, after the success of the movie “Jailer,” has shifted his focus to his next project, ‘Vettaiyan’ (Hunter in Telugu). Directed by Jaibheem fame director TJ Gnanvel, the film is currently being shot in the Sanepalle Naparai mine near Nidujuvvi village of Erraguntla mandal in the YSR district. Rajinikanth, playing a police officer, participated in action scenes with the villain, and the shooting is taking place in the quarry owned by Councilor Madhusudan Reddy.

Fans and locals gathered to catch a glimpse of Rajinikanth during the shoot, and photos and videos from the set are going viral on social media. The film also features Deepika Padukone as Rajinikanth’s partner, with Anirudh Ravichander providing the music. The movie is expected to release in the summer of 2024, targeting a revenue of Rs. 1000 crores, and includes a star-studded cast with Bollywood’s Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Fazil, Rana, Manju Warrier, Rithikasingh, and Dushara Vijayan in key roles.
