Thalapathy Vijay Extends Humanitarian Aid to Chennai Flood Victims

Torrential rains, influenced by Cyclone Michaung, lashed Tamil Nadu on December 17 and 18, resulting in severe flooding in Chennai, Nellai, Thoothukudi, Thenkasi, Kanyakumari, and other regions. The deluge has adversely impacted the lives and livelihoods of the residents. Renowned Kollywood actor Thalapathy Vijay has stepped forward to provide financial aid to the flood victims in Chennai.

Humanitarian Assistance

Vijay personally distributed essential supplies such as rice, vegetables, and blankets to the impoverished individuals affected by the calamity. The floods wreaked havoc, causing the destruction of numerous homes, significant property damage, and loss of lives. Thousands of people are grappling with the scarcity of food and water. To assist those who lost their homes, financial aid ranging from Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 15,000 appears to have been extended.
