Baby Movie Faces Allegations of Copyright Infringement with ‘Preminchoddu’ Story

The movie ‘Baby’ featuring Tollywood’s rising star Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya, with Viraj Anand in a key role, hit the screens on July 14, 2023, and was a huge success. Directed by Sai Rajesh and produced by SKN, it garnered attention. However, recent reports suggest that both director Sai Rajesh and producer SKN are facing a police case.

A complaint was filed by a man named Shirin Sriram with the Rayadurgam police alleging copyright infringement. He claimed that he shared a story titled ‘Preminchoddu’ with Sai Rajesh and asked him to work as a cinematographer for his film. He alleged that the same story was used in the movie ‘Baby’. The truth behind these claims needs to be investigated for clarification.
