Rashmika Mandanna’s Deepfake Video Creator Finally Arrested

Actress Rashmika’s deepfake video created a sensation across the country. As a part of this, the Delhi Police came to Andhra Pradesh and arrested the accused. The original video belongs to Zara Patel, a British Indian influencer. The video of Rashmika was created by altering Zara Patel’s video using deepfake technology.

Delhi Police registered a case after Rashmika’s deepfake video went viral. Complaints were filed under IPC Sections 465, 469, and IT Sections 66C, 66E. Similarly, deepfake videos featuring Kajol, Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, and Sachin Tendulkar have gained widespread attention. Recently, a video featuring Sonu Sood surfaced on the internet. Many celebrities across the country have expressed concern about deepfake videos.

Amitabh Bachchan, popularly known as Big B, was the first to express support for Rashmika in this incident. Later, several celebrities came forward to support Rashmika, and the central government took serious steps to address the issue of deepfake videos. Legal actions have been initiated on this matter.
