Security Heightened for ‘Razakar’ Producer Amid Threats

Guduru Narayana Reddy, the producer of the film “Razakar,” is receiving threatening calls, causing concern. Despite the movie being ready for release before the assembly elections, it was postponed due to unavoidable circumstances. The recently released film is receiving positive feedback, but the producer has reported receiving 1100 threatening calls. As a result, the Union Home Ministry has ordered CRPF personnel to provide security to Narayana Reddy, based on intelligence agency reports.

“Razakar” is a movie depicting the historical Telangana liberation struggle, which faced numerous political controversies. Despite this, the film, with the tagline “Silent Genocide of Hyderabad,” successfully premiered on March 15th, receiving a positive response from audiences since its first day. The portrayal of Razakar’s designs during Nizam’s rule is particularly impressive. The movie features Anchor Anasuya and Indraja in significant roles, contributing to its success and promising good box office collections.

Producer Guduru Narayana Reddy emphasized that “Razakar” is not just a commercial movie but a historical narrative. It aims to educate today’s generation about the attacks on Hindus by Rajakars, the atrocities committed, and the religious conversions during that era. Reddy hopes the film will serve as a valuable resource for future generations, akin to a history book. He urges everyone who watches the film to share it with four others, highlighting the suffering endured by their ancestors. “Razakar” is deemed essential viewing for today’s youth, who may be unaware of their heritage and history.
