AP CID: Chandrababu’s Misdeeds Exposed in Inner Ring Road Scam

Corruption cases involving TDP leader Chandrababu are being revealed one after another. The facts related to the irregularities committed by him during his tenure in power are coming to light. Chandrababu went to jail after scandals about skill development scam, Amaravati land issues, and the Inner Ring Road projects were exposed. But with his political cleverness, he managed to get out on bail. In the Inner Ring Road scam case, the CID filed a charge sheet in the ACB court on Thursday.

In this case, Chandrababu is the main accused as A1 and former minister Narayana is accused as A2. The CID had also named Nara Lokesh, Lingamaneni Ramesh, and Lingamaneni Rajasekhar as accused in the case. The CID determined that Chandrababu’s government made a false agreement with Singapore.

The CID said that it was misleading to say that it was a government-to-government agreement. They confirmed that no such agreement took place. The CID clarified that the agreement made with Singapore did not have the approval of the central government. They determined that illegal payments were made to Surbana Jurong under the guise of a master plan. They also stated that the Inner Ring Road, Seed Capital, and Master Plans were devised to benefit the accused.

The CID mentioned that Lingamaneni gave a house to Chandrababu. The CID said that Heritage bought 14 acres of land next to Lingamaneni’s land.
