Neeraj Chopra Receives Rare Honour: Special Tribute in Switzerland

India’s star javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra has received a rare honour. He was honoured with a plaque at the famous Ice Palace in Jungfraujoch, known as the ‘Top of Europe’ in Switzerland. A commemorative plaque was installed in Jungfraujoch to congratulate Chopra on his remarkable achievements. During his visit, Chopra gifted one of his javelins to the Swiss Tourism Department as a token of appreciation.

The javelin was placed next to the memorial plaque. There are also plaques for tennis legend Roger Federer and golfer Rory McIlroy at the same location. With this, Chopra has earned a spot among them. The Swiss Tourism described the ‘Wall of Fame’ at Jungfraujoch as a testament to the achievements and dedication of these players. Chopra expressed feeling very honoured to have his plaque installed in the magnificent Ice Palace.
