AP Elections: Did Chandrababu’s Era Yield Any Profits?

YS Jagan emphasized the importance of the upcoming elections, stating that they will shape the future of children. Addressing the crowd at the Yemmiganur Assembly, CM YS Jagan highlighted the contrast between his party’s values and the opposition’s criticism. Chandrababu Naidu ridiculed YCP for nominating a tipper driver in Shinganamala, making derogatory remarks about the candidate’s education. However, Jagan defended the decision, asserting that their party stands for the marginalized. He praised the candidate, Veeranjaneyu, highlighting his academic achievements, including an MA in Economics and a B.Ed. Despite the lack of job opportunities during Chandrababu’s tenure, Veeranjaneyu worked hard to become self-sufficient as a tipper driver

YS Jagan urged people to recognize the significant changes brought about during the 58 months of YCP’s governance. He highlighted that 50% of nominated positions have been allocated to women, a unique feat in the country. YCP has requested citizens to show gratitude to the government for this initiative, akin to celebrating Rakshabandhan. Similarly, Jagan encouraged people to compare the details of women’s accounts during Chandrababu’s five-year tenure with those during his own government’s tenure. He questioned whether even a single rupee had been credited to women’s accounts under Chandrababu’s administration. Jagan also noted the improvements in all schools and the enhancement of children’s education. He emphasized the importance of spreading the word if one’s child achieves something significant.

Jagan emphasized that a prosperous state depends on the well-being of its farmers. Through the Rythu Bharosa scheme, each farmer has received Rs. 67,500 over the past 58 months, at a rate of Rs. 13,500 per year. He criticized Chandrababu for deceiving people with promises of waiving off Rs. 87,612 crores in five years. Under YCP’s administration, quality electricity is provided throughout the day, and RBKs support farmers from seed to crop purchase. Previously, during Chandrababu’s rule, electricity would sometimes come as late as midnight, and mentioning farmers’ names was discouraged. Jagan questioned whether parties neglecting Agriculture, which cheated farmers, deserve support. He urged people to stand by them.
