AP Elections: YSRCP Candidates are Finalised, This is the List!

Major political parties in Andhra Pradesh are actively engaged in the candidate selection process for the upcoming Assembly and Lok Sabha elections. CM Jagan is formulating robust strategies to secure power in the next election. While the YSRCP is adjusting candidates based on social statistics, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Janasena are advancing with the goal of defeating Jagan. CM Jagan has already made significant leadership changes, removing some leaders from key responsibilities and assigning important roles to others.

As part of this process, the list of candidates is expected to be prepared, taking into account the performance of YSRCP MLAs in the ticket allocation. The YSRCP has reportedly finalized candidates for some constituencies out of the 25 Lok Sabha seats and 175 assembly seats in the state. Reports suggest that the YSRCP has chosen Narayana Swamy for the Tirupati MP ticket, and Jagan’s physiotherapist in the past, Gurumurthy, is contesting as a Satyavedu MLA candidate. There is speculation about a potential change in the Eluru MP candidate, with Kotagiri Sridhar’s name not yet finalized.

According to information from YSRCP party circles, candidates have been finalized for various assembly seats, including Alur, Chittoor, Madanapalle, Kadiri, Puthalapattu, Gandhara Nellore, Satyavedu, Guduru, Giddalur, Darsi, Kondapi, Polavaram, Rajahmundry Rural, Rajahmundry City, Pithapuram, Jaggampet, Prathipadu, and Payakaraopet. The YSRCP is actively shaping its strategy as the election season approaches.
