Chandrababu Gets 4 Weeks Interim Bail From AP High Court

The AP High Court granted interim bail to TDP President Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday. The court approved the bail petition applied by him citing reasons of ill health. It issued an order granting bail for four weeks. Chandrababu has been in the Rajahmundry Central Jail for 52 days since September 10 in the Skill Development Scam case. The court, which rejected the bail petitions filed by Chandrababu several times, has now granted interim bail for treatment due to his health conditions. More details are awaited.

Bail To End On 24th Of Next Month

The High Court adjourned the hearing of the Skill Development Scam case for 4 weeks. Lawyers say that Chandrababu has been granted bail till the 24th of next month on medical grounds. Meanwhile, the main bail petition will come up for hearing on the 10th of next month. It is being said that Chandrababu will come out of jail this evening or tomorrow morning.

‘Illness’ An Excuse For Bail?

Previously, Chandrababu’s lawyers tried every way to get him out on bail. Pertaining to this, even the Supreme Court dismissed the Cash petition they had filed. In the end, as there were no other chances of getting bail, Chandrababu seems to have tried to get bail on the pretext of ill health. Even in this bail, the AP High Court has imposed many conditions on Chandrababu. Babu should not participate in any kind of media or political activities. Other than going to the hospital, he should not attend any other program in this gap. Babu should surrender again on the evening of November 24, after the expiry of bail. The court pointed out that Chandrababu should not try to influence this case in any which way.
